PUMA Singapore's 9.9 sale is live on its own site, and the homepage banner sells it in one line: 9.9 SALE, UP TO 50% OFF + EXTRA 15% OFF, asterisk included. Both halves of that line need a footnote, and one of them costs money.

> Quick view: 905 products in PUMA's 9.9 grid · code EXTRA15 for another 15% off at checkout · 866 of the 904 listings we loaded carry the code and 38 do not, every one of the 38 a Speedcat or an H-Street · the deepest cut on the grid is 53%, not 50% · free standard shipping over S$75 · PUMA publishes no end date, deal listings put it at 14 September.

The code skips the shoes most people came for

We loaded every page of PUMA's 9.9 grid on 8 September and read the promotion line on each product tile. Of 904 listings, 866 carry "Use code EXTRA15 for additional 15% off" and 38 do not. The 38 are not scattered across the sale. They are two families, and they happen to be PUMA's two hottest lifestyle silhouettes right now:

  • Speedcat, 31 of the 38: OG, Leather, Mesh, Mid, Faded, Metallic, Premium, Piping, Lovelace, Lovelace Ballet, Ballet Metallic, Wine Club, Year of the Horse, plus both Scuderia Ferrari Speedcats.
  • H-Street, the other 7: Premium, T and F, OG and Strap.

All but one are marked at a flat 30% off, and 30% is where they stop; the odd one out is a single H-Street Premium colourway at 20% off, S$119.20. Speedcat OG is S$118.30 from S$169, and it is still S$118.30 in the cart.

The headline undersells the other end

"Up to 50% off" is the banner's number, but it is not the grid's. Thirty styles are marked 53% off, and 53% is the deepest cut on the page. Put EXTRA15 on top of one of those and you are at roughly 60% off the list price, ten points past what PUMA advertises.

The clearest example is the Army Trainer Sneakers: S$149 list, S$70.03 in the sale, S$59.53 after the code. That is a S$89.47 saving, and it undercuts every shoe the code skips: the cheapest of those is the Speedcat Ballet Metallic at S$90.30.

What the popular pairs actually cost

Prices read off sg.puma.com on 8 September 2026, with the code applied by hand at 15%.

  • Army Trainer Sneakers: S$70.03, S$59.53 after code (60% off S$149)
  • AC Milan 25/26 Home Authentic Jersey Men: S$94.50, S$80.33 after code (57% off S$189)
  • Smash Vulcanised V3 Low Trainers: S$51.62, S$43.88 after code (51% off S$89)
  • Palermo Vintage Update Sneakers: S$105.79, S$89.92 after code (40% off S$149)
  • Velocity NITRO 4 Running Shoes Men: S$127.09, S$108.03 after code (40% off S$179)
  • Speedcat OG Sneakers: S$118.30, no code, 30% off S$169

The Palermo line is the one to know if a Speedcat was the plan. Both are S$149 lifestyle sneakers, both are on sale, and after the code the Palermo Vintage Update lands at S$89.92 against the Speedcat OG's S$118.30. Same list price, S$28.38 apart.

At the cheap end, the sale runs a long way down: a Training Bottle at S$7.05 (S$5.99 after the code) and a run of caps, a packable tote and a Big Cat mini football at S$11.02 (S$9.37 after it).

The S$75 line, and the number that clears it

PUMA's site header promises free standard shipping for orders over S$75. It does not say whether that S$75 is read before or after a code comes off, and EXTRA15 is a checkout code rather than a marked-down price, so the two readings can disagree by exactly one delivery fee.

If you are near the line, aim for about S$88 before the code. Fifteen per cent off S$88.24 is S$75, so anything above that clears the threshold on either interpretation.

The last 9.9 sportswear sale standing

Nike's 9.9, adidas' 9.9 and Decathlon's 9.9 Smashing Sale all close on 10 September. If the widely listed 14 September date holds for PUMA, this one runs four days past all of them, which is worth knowing if you are waiting on a payday rather than a sale.

The mechanics are worth comparing too. adidas takes its extra 30% off in the cart on already-reduced stock, Nike runs a flat rail on buy-two, and PUMA hands you a code that works on 96% of its own sale and stops dead at the Speedcat rack.

The fine print PUMA has not written

  1. No published end date. Nothing on the banner, the landing page or the Terms of Purchase carries one. The asterisk on the banner leads nowhere.
  2. No stated minimum spend for the code, and none appeared on any tile we read. The code's own conditions are not published either, so confirm the discount in the cart before you pay.
  3. Online only. Everything above is the sg.puma.com grid. PUMA's physical stores are not part of this and are not priced here.
  4. Stock moves. 905 products on a Tuesday evening is not 905 products on Friday, and the deepest cuts are the first to go.
