The blind-box craze has officially reached the tissue aisle. Kleenex Singapore has launched 'Everyday Softies' — four collectible plushie keychains modelled on its own products — and it is giving them away free with a S$25 spend, from 20 July to 15 September 2026.

What you get

The Everyday Softies are a set of four soft keychains shaped like the things in your bathroom cupboard — a chubby tissue box, a tissue roll, a soft little pouch and a cheeky brown character, each with a Kleenex tab and a keyring. Each blind box is valued at S$18, which is the part that makes this worth planning: it is a genuine collectible giveaway rather than a token freebie.

They come sealed and random. There is no picking your favourite, and if you redeem more than once you can land duplicates — completing the set of four is luck, or trading with a friend.

How the redemption works

  1. Spend at least S$25 on Kleenex products in a single receipt. One transaction — two smaller trips do not add up. Any Kleenex product counts unless stated otherwise, so tissues, kitchen towels and wet wipes all go towards the total.
  2. Take the original receipt to the Customer Service Counter or Cashier Counter at that outlet, during its opening hours.
  3. Collect one sealed Plushie Keychain Blind Box, while stocks last.

Where it is running

Redemption is at selected outlets of five chains: FairPrice, Cold Storage (including Market Place), Giant, Sheng Siong and Prime Supermarket. "Selected" is doing real work here — the campaign's outlet list covers dozens of branches but not every store in each chain. Giant Tampines, IMM and Choa Chu Kang, Cold Storage Great World City, Holland Village and Suntec City, and FairPrice VivoCity, Waterway Point and AMK Hub are among those on the list; check the outlet list or ask at the counter before you fill a trolley.

FairPrice bonus: at selected FairPrice stores, the same S$25 spend also gets you a free pack of Kleenex Skin Care 2in1 Tissue Cloth 50s, subject to availability — two freebies from one receipt.

The fine print

  1. One receipt, minimum S$25 — single transaction only.
  2. Designs are issued at random and cannot be chosen; duplicates are possible across multiple redemptions.
  3. While stocks last, at participating outlets only — the organiser may substitute a gift of similar value or end the promotion early.
  4. Gifts are non-refundable, non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
  5. Under-18s need parental or guardian consent to take part.

Is it worth it?

Only if you were buying tissues anyway — and most households are. S$25 of Kleenex is roughly a couple of multi-packs plus a pack of wet wipes, which is a normal restock rather than a stretch, and the campaign runs for nearly two months, so you can time it to a supermarket promotion on Kleenex itself and get the plushie on top. What you should not do is buy $25 of anything you will not use to chase an $18 keychain.

If the plushies are the point, go early. Singapore has form here — collectible giveaways of this kind tend to clear the popular malls first, and "while stocks last" arrives well before the 15 September end date at the busiest stores.
