Singapore turns 61 this weekend, and JINJJA Chicken has priced its National Day deal to match: a box of 10 Signature Fried Wings for $6.10 — 61¢ a wing — from Saturday 8 August to Monday 10 August 2026.

What's on offer

The campaign poster is refreshingly short on weasel words. It reads: "61¢ WINGS · 8–10 AUGUST · PURCHASE IN BOX OF 10 WINGS FOR $6.10 · LIMITED TO 3 SETS PER PERSON · WHILST STOCKS LAST." JINJJA's own Facebook announcement puts it the same way — *"Singapore just turned 61, and we're celebrating the only way we know how: WINGS, WINGS, WINGS. From 8-10 August, snag a box of 10 wings for just $6.10. Limited to 3 sets per pax, while stocks last."*

This is a repeat of the trick JINJJA pulled for SG60, when the same box went for 60¢ a wing over the same three-day window. The price simply tracks the birthday.

How good is it, really

JINJJA doesn't publish a standalone 10-piece box price, so the fair comparison is per wing:

That's roughly 57% below the 12-piece per-wing rate. Max out the cap — three boxes, 30 wings, $18.30 — and you've paid less than the list price of a single 18-piece box.

The fine print that actually matters

  1. Limit 3 sets (boxes) per person. Bring a friend if you're feeding a crowd.
  2. Whilst stocks last, with a DAILY quota. The Facebook post is explicit: *"Management reserves the right to end the promotion once the daily quota is reached, without prior notice."* Each of the three days has its own allocation, and a busy outlet can shut the deal early.
  3. Sauce flavours aren't specified. JINJJA's signature line-up is Soy Garlic, Yangnyeom (the sweet-sticky-spicy Korean classic) and Monkfish (the numbing extra-spicy one), but neither the poster nor the post says which comes in the $6.10 box, or whether you pick. Ask at the counter.
  4. Delivery is unconfirmed. The announcement lists outlets and says nothing about foodpanda, GrabFood or the JINJJA app — read it as an in-store offer until an outlet tells you otherwise.

Tips

  • Go early. The daily-quota clause is the whole game here. A late-lunch or mid-afternoon run on Saturday or Sunday beats queueing at 8pm on Monday and being told the allocation's gone.
  • The long weekend is the point. Sunday 9 August is National Day; Monday 10 August is the public holiday in lieu — so all three promo days are non-working days for most people, which also means the outlets will be busier than a normal weekend.
  • It's halal-certified, which is rarer than it should be among National Day fried-chicken deals — handy if you're feeding a mixed group.
