Term is back, and so is the one hotpot deal students actually diarise: Haidilao Singapore has reopened its Student Set at S$29.90, live from 13 August 2026 at ten outlets, on nothing more than a valid Student ID.

The time windows are the actual deal
Haidilao published two windows and they are narrower than the headline reads:
- Monday to Friday, before 5PM
- Sunday to Thursday, after 10PM
Lay that across a week and three things fall out. Friday nights are out — Friday only qualifies before 5pm. Sunday only works as a supper, from 10pm. And Saturday appears in neither window, which makes it the single day of the week the Student Set cannot be used at all. That is the trap worth knowing, because Saturday is when most people would try.
The upside of those windows is that they are Haidilao's quiet shifts. A 4pm weekday seating is the easy version of this deal, and the after-10pm slot is the one where you will actually get a table at 313 @ Somerset or Bugis+ without queueing.

Every other Haidilao in Singapore is out, so check before you travel. Town is covered by 313 @ Somerset, Plaza Singapura, Wisma Atria and Bugis+; the west by IMM and Jurong Point; the north by Sun Plaza, Northpoint City and The Seletar Mall; the east by Century Square.
What you get — and what Haidilao hasn't said
The poster's only line on contents is "set items may vary by outlet", with no itemised list. For a sense of shape, Haidilao's own March 2026 student set at IMM was built as 2 of 6 soup bases in a quarter pot, 4 of 14 classic dishes, 1 meat + 1 staple + 1 snack, plus 2 HECHÁ milk teas. Treat that as indicative, not promised — this run has not been itemised and outlets are explicitly allowed to differ.
The price footnote
The artwork prints "S$29.90" with no plus signs. Haidilao's own caption and every deal listing carry it as S$29.90++. Assume the ++: with the 10% service charge and 9% GST, that is about $35.85 nett a head. Ask at the table before ordering — it is the difference between a $60 and a $72 bill for two.
Fine print worth carrying in
- Valid Student ID, presented at the table — the only eligibility check on the poster. No app, no membership, no code.
- Set items vary by outlet — confirm the build before you order, not after.
- No end date announced. Haidilao's previous student sets ran on published dates (16 Mar–31 May 2026 at IMM; an earlier Jurong Point run was extended), so read this as a semester-length promo that can be pulled or extended without notice. Go early in the run.
