Goodwood Park Hotel has rebuilt the afternoon tea buffet at L'Espresso around Singaporean flavours and called it "The Local Palate" — and for the whole of August 2026 it is charging a flat $61 per adult to mark Singapore's 61st birthday.

What's on the table
The hotel's own description leans hard into local flavours rather than the usual scones-and-finger-sandwiches routine. The savoury highlights it names:
- Crispy Soft Shell Crab Slider with Singapore Chilli Crab Sauce
- Beef Rendang with Kaffir Lime Leaves & Toasted Coconut, served with Crispy Prata
- Butter Chicken Pizza
And the sweets, which is where the theme really lands:

The bit worth planning around: $61 is one price replacing two
This is the detail most reposts flatten. L'Espresso does not have a single usual price — it has two, split by the day of the week. The SG61 promotion charges everyone the same $61, which means the discount is quietly much bigger at the weekend:

After the 10% service charge and 9% GST, $61++ comes to $73.14 nett whichever day you go — against $77.94 midweek and $81.53 at the weekend. Same buffet, same price, but the offer is worth nearly twice as much on a Saturday as on a Tuesday.
Sittings, and why the last day is a trap
The sessions differ by day too, and they're fixed:

Now put that against the end date. The promotion runs "exclusively for August 2026", so the final day is Monday 31 August — a weekday, with only the single 2pm–5.30pm sitting. That makes Sunday 30 August the last weekend sitting of the entire run, and the last chance to take the $7++ version of the discount.
The fine print
- $61 is per ADULT. Child pricing is untouched — $39 (Mon–Thu) and $40.80 (Fri–Sun/PH), for children 6–11 years of age. A family table saves on the adult covers only.
- Prices are before tax. All prices are subject to 10% service charge for dine-in and prevailing government taxes.
- No stacking. Not valid with other discounts, promotions or vouchers unless otherwise stated.
