ChaPanda has put its L-size 「豆乳玉麒麟」Oolong Milk Tea with Soybean Cheese Foam on buy-1-get-1-free from Wednesday 20 August to Wednesday 27 August 2026. The headline number is good. The outlet list being passed around is wrong.
> Quick view: 1-for-1 L-size Oolong Milk Tea with Soybean Cheese Foam · 20–27 Aug 2026 · $6.50 for two cups ($3.25 each) · six outlets, not three · L size only · same drink both cups · Nutri-Grade C, 7% sugar.
The deal, and what it actually costs
ChaPanda's poster prices the L cup at $6.50. Buy one, get one free, so two L cups cost $6.50 — $3.25 each. That is a flat 50% off, and it puts a cheese-foam drink below what most of the same malls charge for a plain milk tea.
The drink is the 豆乳玉麒麟: an oolong milk tea finished with a soybean cheese foam — the savoury-salty cheese-foam cap, but built on soy rather than dairy alone, with roasted soybean powder in the styling. The poster's asterisk is the first thing to read: **\*L size only**. An M cup does not qualify.
The outlet list every repost has got wrong
This is the reason to read past the headline. The deal is circulating as a three-outlet promotion — SCAPE, Century Square and Clementi. ChaPanda's own Instagram caption lists six:
| Participating | Address |
|---|---|
| SCAPE | 2 Orchard Link, #02-07 |
| Century Square | 2 Tampines Central 5, #01-36 |
| Clementi | Blk 442 Clementi Ave 3 |
| Ang Mo Kio | Blk 710A |
| Pasir Ris Mall | #B2-11 |
| Paya Lebar Square | 60 Paya Lebar Road, #B1-01 |
The three that got dropped from the reporting — Ang Mo Kio, Pasir Ris Mall and Paya Lebar Square — are the entire north-east. If you live in Tampines you were told to go to Century Square; if you live in Pasir Ris or Ang Mo Kio you were told the deal wasn't near you at all.
And the three that really are excluded
Going the other way, ChaPanda runs nine stores in Singapore, and three of them are genuinely not in this:
- Northpoint (#B2-162)
- Chinatown Point (#01-24)
- VivoCity (#B2-23D)
The last one is the sting: VivoCity only opened on 7 August, two weeks ago, with its own opening promotion. The newest ChaPanda in Singapore is the one you cannot use this at. The caption is explicit — the offer is *only at the stores listed above* — so turning up at one of these three with a screenshot will not work.
What ChaPanda has not published
Worth being straight about: there is no terms block on the poster at all, and the caption's only condition is the store list. So the following are simply unstated —
- No per-customer cap is published. That does not mean there isn't one at the counter once a queue forms.
- No dine-in or takeaway restriction is published either way.
- No daily time window — unlike the afternoon-only drink deals running elsewhere this month, nothing here says 2pm–8pm.
- Nothing on delivery or app orders. Drink 1-for-1s at this price are usually in-store only; assume that until told otherwise.
Ask at the counter before you order, and go on a weekday afternoon rather than the evening peak.
One health line
The poster carries a Nutri-Grade C mark at 7% sugar — that is the drink at its default sweetness, before you ask for less. Grade C is the middle band, and two L cups is a lot of it in one sitting; the second cup is meant for someone else.
