The September break is the awkward one. It is short, it sits between two exam runs, and it contains exactly one working week — Monday 7 to Friday 11 September 2026 — which is the only window a five-day camp can occupy. MOE's Term 3 break itself runs Saturday 5 September to Sunday 13 September, and Teachers' Day on Friday 4 September stretches it to a 10-day stretch for most families, but the weekends at either end are not what you are trying to cover.
We checked six providers on their own booking pages, published schedules and campaign artwork on 19 August 2026. Three things came out of that check that the round-up posts currently get wrong.
The discount calendar matters more than the price list
Only one dated early bird is still open. Wildlings' 10% off the 7–11 September week closes on Friday 28 August 2026. It needs no code and applies at checkout, and it is worth about $70 on a $695 week.
One has already closed. School of Robotics ran 30% off for anyone who signed up and paid by 18 August 2026 — that was yesterday. Its September camp is now full price, so if you were waiting for that discount to appear, it has already been and gone.
Everything else on this list is conditional rather than dated: a sibling discount, a membership rate, a group booking, or a "while places last" allocation with no published deadline.
Two camps do not run the full week
This is the detail most likely to cost you a day of leave:
- Empire Code runs Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September only. Friday 11 September is sold separately as a $70 "Pitch, Present & Market" workshop.
- Children's Worklab's September window is two days — Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September, at Forum, per its own published schedule. Every other week on that schedule is October.
Check whether a price includes GST before you compare
Wildlings states its prices include 9% GST, so $695 is what you pay. School of Robotics quotes $180–200 a day before GST, so four days at the $180 rate is $720 pre-tax and roughly $784.80 after. Those two numbers look close on a comparison blog and are not close at checkout.
One more price correction: Whizz Kidz's Smash Lab camp is widely listed at "from $340", but on Whizz Kidz's own store $340 is the SAFRA member rate. The public price is $400.
