A rooftop bar in Singapore is really a transaction: you pay a premium on the drink and you get the skyline in return. The trick is that the premium is not fixed. Nearly every big rooftop runs an early-evening deal, and the same glass can cost $12 at 3pm and $31 at 8pm — so the hour you arrive matters more than which bar you pick.
We went through eight of the city's best-known rooftops in July 2026 and pulled the level, opening hours and current promotions from each venue's own website, not from the listicles — because two of the names those listicles still recommend have closed.

Two things that changed in 2026
- Smoke & Mirrors has closed. The Level 6 rooftop at National Gallery Singapore is now Milli, which opened on 31 May 2026 — same view, entirely different bar.
- 1-Altitude at One Raffles Place is permanently closed. The brand moved to Sentosa as 1-Altitude Coast, on Level 7 of The Outpost Hotel.
If a guide still lists either of the originals, it hasn't been checked this year.
The eight at a glance
- CÉ LA VI SkyBar — Level 57 of Marina Bay Sands, open from noon. The postcard view; the highest prices.
- LeVeL33 — the world's highest urban craft brewery, Level 33 MBFC Tower 1. Beer brewed on site, open for lunch.
- Lantern — The Fullerton Bay Hotel rooftop. The best happy hour: from S$10++, Mon–Fri 3–6pm.
- Milli — brand new, National Gallery Level 6, with a club lounge on Level 5.
- SKAI Bar — Level 70, Swissôtel The Stamford. The highest, and indoors when it rains.
- Southbridge — Boat Quay Level 5. A different deal every night, prices already include service charge and GST.
- Kinki Rooftop Bar — neon and graffiti at Customs House, Marina Bay Sands head-on.
- 1-Altitude Coast — Sentosa, Level 7. Sunset over water, infinity pool, fireworks twice a night.
How to pick
- Want the cheapest way onto a rooftop? Lantern from 3pm on a weekday — selected drinks from S$10++, and you'll get a railing seat before the after-work crowd.
- Want value all week, not just one window? Southbridge — a promotion every night, and its prices are quoted inclusive of service charge and GST, so $16 is $16.
- Want beer rather than cocktails? LeVeL33 — brewed 33 floors up, with a weekday High Beer sitting from 2–3.30pm.
- Want the highest, or a wet-weather backup? SKAI on Level 70, behind floor-to-ceiling glass.
- Want a proper night out? CÉ LA VI, Milli or Kinki — all three run DJs late.
- Want sea instead of skyline? 1-Altitude Coast — west-facing sunset, an infinity pool, and Sentosa's fireworks at about 7.40pm and 8.45pm nightly.
Before you go
- Do the '++' maths. A $26++ cocktail is about $31 once service charge and GST are added. Southbridge is the exception here — its listed prices already include both.
- Sunset is the crunch. Every bar on this list is busiest in the hour before dark. Book, or arrive when the doors open.
- Check the day, not just the time. Kinki's rooftop is closed on Sundays; Lantern's happy hour excludes public holidays; CÉ LA VI charges a cover on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Dress smart casual. Kinki states it outright — no singlets, no flip-flops — and the hotel rooftops apply it more strictly after dark.
- Have a rain plan. Most of these are open-air. SKAI, and the indoor sections of LeVeL33 and Milli, are the ones that still work in a downpour.
One note for National Day
NDP 2026 is at the National Stadium in Kallang on 9 August, its first return there in a decade, with the outdoor fireworks over Kallang Basin — not Marina Bay. So the bars on this list that face Marina Bay Sands are pointed the wrong way for the main display. If fireworks are the point of the evening, either pick a Kallang vantage spot or go to 1-Altitude Coast, where Sentosa's own fireworks run nightly on a schedule.
