Ramen fans, mark 14 July: Mensho — the celebrated, Michelin-approved Tokyo ramen brand — is launching a brand-new express concept, MENSHO X, and it's chosen Singapore for its first-ever outlet anywhere in the world. Opening at Six Battery Road near Raffles Place, it serves ramen, tsukemen and mazemen with a signature lighter chicken (toripaitan) broth — with everything under about $22. To celebrate, the first 100 diners a day get a free ajitama egg from 14–18 July.
