F1 Singapore 2026 Road Closures and Transport: 7 to 13 October, and the Last Trains Are Earlier Than 2025
The Land Transport Authority published the road closure and public transport arrangements for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 on 4 September 2026. Roads around the Marina Centre and Padang area close for seven days, from 12.01am on Wednesday 7 October to 5.30am on Tuesday 13 October, with the race itself on 9 to 11 October. Two details are worth catching early. First, LTA says the vehicle Access Lane timings have been adjusted because of the Sprint race Singapore hosts for the first time this year, and Friday 9 October is the day that changed: the afternoon window closes at 4pm instead of 5pm, and the late window opens at 11pm instead of 10pm. Second, the extended last trains are earlier than they were in 2025. City Hall sends its final North-South and East-West Line trains at 12.30am on 9 and 10 October and 12.45am on 11 October, where the two heaviest nights of the 2025 race ran to 1.00am. This is the full schedule, the gate-by-gate MRT map from LTA's own annex, which car parks stay open, and what it means if you live, work or park in the city centre.

Singapore F1 2026 Guide: Dates, Tickets, the First-Ever Sprint, Free Viewing Spots and the JJ Lin to Lana Del Rey Concert Line-Up (9 to 11 Oct)
The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is back at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026, and this year carries a first: Singapore hosts its debut F1 Sprint, the final Sprint round of the season, so Saturday gets a full Sprint race on top of the usual night-race weekend. Tickets run from Zone 4 Walkabout general admission (from around S$198 a day) up to premium hospitality, and some categories have already sold out. If you are not buying a ticket, there are still a handful of free spots around the bay that catch real glimpses of the cars: Marina Square, the Helix Bridge, the National Gallery's upper floors and the Esplanade among them. And the full concert line-up is now out: JJ Lin opens Friday, The Killers and Goo Goo Dolls take Saturday, and Lana Del Rey plus Janet Jackson close Sunday, with DJ Snake, Mark Ronson and ZHU on the DJ stages. This guide covers the dates and the new Sprint format, ticket zones and prices, free viewing spots, road closures and transport, and the night-by-night line-up.
