One of Singapore's best-known Chinese seafood names is doing a proper 1-for-1: at TungLok Seafood inside Park Regis by Prince Singapore (23 Merchant Road, near Clarke Quay), the Deluxe à la carte seafood buffet — usual price $59.80++ per adult — is buy-1-get-1-free for July, so two diners split it for the price of one, roughly $30++ a head before the 10% service charge and 9% GST. Unlike a self-serve steam-tray line, it's an order-to-your-table à la carte buffet: everything's cooked fresh as you tick it off the menu. The Deluxe tier piles on the good stuff — deep-fried salt-and-pepper oysters, braised whole abalone with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables — on top of Japanese sashimi and sushi, Chinese à la carte dishes, rice and noodles, and desserts, with as many rounds as you can finish.
