Who gets what
Takashimaya cardholders get the headline deal: an additional 10% off almost everything in the department store, in person or on the website. That covers the DBS Takashimaya American Express and Visa credit cards, the DBS Takashimaya Visa Debit Card, the Takashimaya Cash Smart Card and the Prestige card.
DBS and POSB cardmembers without a Takashimaya card are not left out online. Pay with any DBS or POSB credit or debit card at takashimaya.com.sg and you get an extra 10% off with just a $10 minimum spend.
Everyone shopping online can also try the three order-level codes, SALE10, SALE30 and SALE60. Takashimaya says redemptions are limited, so they may run out before Sunday.
What "up to 6% voucher rebates" means
The rebate comes as Takashimaya Bonus Points, and 100 points convert to $30 in Takashimaya gift vouchers. Using the earn rates on Takashimaya's own card page, the maths works out like this:
- DBS Takashimaya Amex or Visa credit card: 2 points per $10, which is the full 6%.
- DBS Takashimaya Visa Debit Card: 2 points per $12, about 5%.
- Takashimaya Cash Smart Card: 1 point per $10, about 3%, and only when you pay by cash, NETS or EZ-Link.
So a $500 haul on a DBS Takashimaya credit card is $450 after the 10%, plus roughly $27 back in vouchers later. Points are redeemed at the Level 3 Customer Service Centre or as digital vouchers in the Takashimaya SG app.
Not a cardholder yet?
You can sign up on the spot. The Takashimaya Cash Smart Card is issued at the Customer Service Centre on Level 3 for a $15 fee, payable by cash or NETS only. Bring a recent passport-sized colour photo and your NRIC (or Employment Pass, Work Permit or Dependant Pass) showing a Singapore address. You must be 18 or older. If you plan to spend more than $150 over the four days, the 10% covers the fee.
The fine print
- Exclusions apply. Takashimaya does not list them on the promo page, but its card terms exclude purchases at Cold Storage, Starbucks, Suju Dining and Food Village from bonus points, and gift voucher purchases never earn points. Check at the counter before paying for big-ticket or luxury items.
- It is the department store's deal. The specialty shops in the wider Takashimaya Shopping Centre mall run their own promotions.
- Online codes are limited and must be entered at order level.
- The DBS/POSB 10% is online only, not at the in-store cashier.
Also on during Card Day
- 33rd Anniversary Lucky Draw: Takashimaya is giving away a pair of round-trip flights from Singapore to Tokyo plus a 2-night stay, with anniversary activities running to Thursday 5 November 2026. Entry is through the store's official 33rd Anniversary page.
- Fila and Anta Sale at the B1 Talking Hall runs until 26 October with up to 70% off sportswear, so cardholders can stack the 10% where the fair allows it.
Tips
- Shop the codes early. SALE30 and SALE60 have limited redemptions and tend to go on the first day.
- Use the late hours. With the store open to 10pm, a weeknight visit on Thursday or Friday avoids the weekend crowd.
- Do your Christmas list now. Card Day is the last scheduled 10% before the festive rush, so it is a good time for gifts, cookware and winter wear for year-end trips.
