Seorae Jib 10th Anniversary: the $59 Jeju Pork Platter Is a 2-Pax Price, and After 5pm You Have to Buy a BBQ Set Too

Seorae Jib put its 10th Anniversary promotions live on 8 September 2026, headlined by a Premium Jeju Pork Platter at $59 against a stated U.P. of $100. Every write-up going around today quotes the $59 and the 41% without the two lines printed on the brand's own poster: the platter is 420g and the price is FOR 2 PAX, and the $59 only runs until 5pm, after which you must also buy a BBQ Set to get it. Prices are ++, so $59 is $70.74 once 10% service charge and 9% GST go on, or $35.37 a head. We read the anniversary menu PDF too, and the $118 10th Anniversary Set (760g, 2-3 pax, six meats plus a jjigae) is actually 10.5% dearer per gram than the Jeju platter, so the cheap way in is the platter before 5pm. The best-value item on the promotions page is neither: the 100 Knife Cuts Kkot BBQ Lunch Set for 2 is $29.90 against a U.P. of $60.70, a 50.7% cut and about $17.93 a head all-in. Five outlets, no end date published.

Seorae Jib turned its promotions page over to a 10th Anniversary line-up on 8 September 2026, and the number doing the rounds is a Premium Jeju Pork Platter at $59 against a brand-stated U.P. of $100. That is a real 41% off. It is also not quite the deal the write-ups describe, because two lines printed on Seorae Jib's own poster keep getting dropped.

> Quick view: $59 buys a 420g Premium Jeju Pork Platter, and the poster prices it FOR 2 PAX, not per person. The $59 is available until 5pm only; from 5pm onwards Seorae Jib requires a minimum purchase of any BBQ Set before it will sell you the platter at $59. Prices are ++, so $59 is $70.74 at the till, about $35.37 a head. Five outlets. No end date published.

The two lines the write-ups dropped

Both sit on the campaign artwork, not in a footnote somewhere else.

It is a two-person price. Directly under the "$59" the poster reads FOR 2 PAX, and the platter is 420g in total across four cuts: pork belly (삼겹살), pork collar (돼지 목살), pork tenderloin (돼지 안심) and pork loin (돼지 등심). So $59 is the table's bill for that dish, and two diners get 210g of meat each.

It expires daily at 5pm. The T&Cs, printed on the poster and repeated word for word on the promotions page, read that the $59 Jeju Mix Pork Platter is available until 5pm, and that from 5pm onwards, minimum purchase of any BBQ Set is required to enjoy the platter at $59. The evening version is an add-on price, not a standalone one.

That leaves a clean window of 11.30am to 5pm on weekdays and 11am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays, which is when Seorae Jib opens on each of those days.

What it actually costs

Seorae Jib's menus carry the line "Prices are quoted in SGD and subject to service charge and prevailing GST", so every figure here is a ++ price. With 10% service charge and 9% GST:

ItemMenu priceAt the tillPer person
Premium Jeju Pork Platter, 420g, 2 pax$59$70.74$35.37
Same platter at stated U.P.$100$119.90$59.95
10th Anniversary Set, 760g, 2-3 pax$118$141.48$70.74 at 2, $47.16 at 3
100 Knife Cuts Kkot BBQ Lunch Set for 2$29.90$35.85$17.93

The all-in saving on the Jeju platter is $49.16, not $41.

The bigger anniversary set is the worse buy per gram

The 10th Anniversary Set is the one the brand built the campaign around: 760g for 2-3 pax at $118, with six premium meats (100 Knife Cuts Kkot Samgyeobsal, Dwaeji Galbi, Signature Galmaegisal, Spicy Dakgalbi, Garlic Dakgalbi and Gwangyang Bulgogi) plus a choice of doenjang, kimchi or sundubu jjigae.

Run the two against each other on weight and the celebration set loses:

  • Jeju platter: $59 for 420g is $0.140 a gram
  • Anniversary set: $118 for 760g is $0.155 a gram

The anniversary set is 10.5% dearer per gram. What the extra buys is range rather than value: six cuts instead of four, chicken and beef alongside the pork, and a stew. If you are two people and you came for cheap grilled pork, the Jeju platter before 5pm is the answer. If you are three and want variety, the set drops to $47.16 a head and starts to make sense.

The cheapest thing on the page is neither of them

Sitting quietly below both is the 100 Knife Cuts Kkot BBQ Lunch Set for 2 at $29.90, against a stated U.P. of $60.70. That is a 50.7% cut, the deepest of the three, and it is the only one where the discount beats the headline promotion. It comes with 100 Knife Cuts Kkot Samgyeobsal and Moksal, sotbap rice, japchae and two bowls of seaweed soup, and it lands at $35.85 for two with service charge and GST, or $17.93 a head.

If you want to go cheaper still without grilling anything, Seorae Jib's lunch menu starts at $10.90++ for jjajangmyeon, mul naengmyeon or bibim naengmyeon, and lunch is served until 4pm on weekdays.

One thing worth knowing about the member prices

Seorae Jib runs a free loyalty scheme called Syo Rewards, and on the lunch menu the member tier is where the real cuts are. Braised Sliced Beef and Clam Kalguksu is $25.90 on the menu and $17.90 for members, a 31% gap. Busan Dwaeji Gukbap and Naju Gomtang both drop from $25.90 to $19.90, and Kimchi Jjigae with Grilled Samgyeobsal from $21.90 to $16.90.

The anniversary promotions are the exception: none of the three carries a member price, so the $59, the $118 and the $29.90 are open to walk-ins on the same terms as members.

The fine print

  • No end date is published. Seorae Jib's promotions page says the Jeju platter is available "for a limited time" and the lunch set is "50% off for a limited time only", and gives no closing date for either. Check the page before you go.
  • Prices are ++. Add 10% service charge and 9% GST to every figure on the menu and on the posters.
  • The 5pm rule is the one that catches people. A 7pm table cannot order the platter on its own at $59.
  • The promotions page names no outlet restrictions, but it also does not list the outlets individually, so if you are making a special trip, call your outlet first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Seorae Jib $59 Jeju Pork Platter a price per person?

No. Seorae Jib's own campaign poster prints "$59 FOR 2 PAX" directly under the price, and the platter is 420g in total across four cuts: pork belly (samgyeopsal), pork collar, pork tenderloin and pork loin. So $59 is what the table pays, not what each diner pays, and it works out to 210g of meat a head for two people. The number to budget for is higher than $59 in any case, because Seorae Jib quotes all its prices before 10% service charge and 9% GST. Add both and the platter is $70.74 at the till, roughly $35.37 a person. The stated usual price of $100 becomes $119.90 on the same basis, so the promotion saves about $49 all-in.

What happens if I go to Seorae Jib after 5pm?

The $59 price stops standing on its own. The T&Cs printed on Seorae Jib's poster and repeated on its promotions page read that the $59 Jeju Mix Pork Platter is available until 5pm, and that from 5pm onwards a minimum purchase of any BBQ Set is required to enjoy the platter at $59 (U.P. $100). In other words the evening version is an add-on price, not a standalone deal, so a dinner table has to order a BBQ Set first and then add the platter. The clean window is therefore from opening to 5pm: 11.30am to 5pm on weekdays and 11am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays.

Which Seorae Jib promotion is actually the best value?

On pure meat-per-dollar, the Jeju platter beats the bigger anniversary set. The Premium Jeju Pork Platter is 420g for $59, which is $0.140 a gram. The 10th Anniversary Set is 760g for $118, which is $0.155 a gram, so it is 10.5% dearer per gram even though the headline set looks like the celebration item. The anniversary set does carry six meats rather than four, including chicken and beef alongside the pork, plus a choice of doenjang, kimchi or sundubu jjigae, so it buys variety rather than value. The cheapest way into Seorae Jib altogether is the third promotion on the same page: the 100 Knife Cuts Kkot BBQ Lunch Set for 2 at $29.90 against a stated U.P. of $60.70, a 50.7% cut, which comes with sotbap rice, japchae and two bowls of seaweed soup and lands at about $35.85 for two once service charge and GST go on, or $17.93 a head.

Seorae Jib (Jem, NEX, Plaza Singapura, Compass One, Tampines Mall)

10th Anniversary Premium Jeju Pork Platter at $59 (brand-stated U.P. $100). READ THIS FIRST: the poster prices it FOR 2 PAX and the platter is 420g across four cuts (pork belly, pork collar, pork tenderloin, pork loin). The $59 is available until 5pm only; from 5pm onwards Seorae Jib requires a minimum purchase of any BBQ Set to get the platter at $59. Prices are quoted before 10% service charge and 9% GST, so $59 becomes $70.74, about $35.37 a head.
