Singapore's own department store has timed its National Day sale to land straight across the long weekend: OG's 'Happy SG61 Birthday' promotion runs till 10 August 2026, with 20% off storewide on most brands' regular-priced items at OG Albert and OG People's Park — and a separate set of '61'-themed best buys sitting on top of it.

The two mechanics — and why the second one matters more

This sale is really two offers wearing one banner, and shoppers routinely miss the better half.

  1. 20% off storewide — applies to *most* brands' regular-priced items, in-store at the two outlets.
  2. The '61' best buys — selected items repriced to exactly $61, or cut by 61%.

They are not stackable: a $61 item is already at its final price. The reason to work the $61 list first is simple arithmetic — on anything with a high usual price, $61 is a far deeper cut than 20% will ever be. A $189 pan at $61 is 68% off; the same pan at 20% off is $151.20.

The fine print

  1. "Storewide" means most brands, not all — and only regular-priced items; already-reduced stock is out.
  2. The 20% and the $61 buys don't stack — a $61 item is at its final price.
  3. Cosmetics and Triumph are excluded from OG Gold Member extra discounts.
  4. While stocks last, and the two outlets carry different stock — ring ahead (6210 2222) before travelling for one specific item.
  5. The 20% storewide portion is in-store; the $61 buys are also on the e-shop (delivery from $2.99, free above $200).
