Marvel-style capes, mascot selfies, and a giant main-stage cosplay competition for kids — K!DZ Pop Con Asia 2026 is landing at Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 23–24 May 2026 and it's shaping up to be one of the biggest family events of the May school holidays. If you've got a child aged 2 to 12 who loves characters, dressing up, or just running around burning off energy at inflatables, this one is worth pencilling in.
Here's everything you need to know to plan the day — dates, ticket prices, the cosplay competition rules, plus a freebie loophole that's worth up to S$79 per paying adult.
The essentials
Dates: Saturday 23 May & Sunday 24 May 2026.
Venue: Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.
Hours: 10am to 8pm daily.
Ages: Kids aged 2 to 12 need tickets; infants under 2 enter free. Every child must be accompanied by a paying adult (12+).
What to expect at the event
This isn't a passive convention — K!DZ Pop Con is built for young kids who get bored fast. Expect mascot meet-and-greets, live stage performances, learn-to-play game zones, educational skill-building activities run by partner brands, and roaming characters throughout the hall. Bring comfortable shoes, a power bank, and a water bottle. The venue has aircon and food available on-site but Sands Expo prices aren't cheap — a pre-visit stop at one of Marina Bay Sands' food courts saves money.
Ticket prices (direct from the organiser)
Basic Entry (1-day pass): S$10 per person — venue access only, no inflatables.
All-Access Single: S$25 — venue entry + inflatables for 1 person.
All-Access Buddy: S$48 — venue entry + inflatables for 2 people.
All-Access Trio: S$69 — venue entry + inflatables for 3 people.
All-Access Family: S$88 — venue entry + inflatables for 4 people.
Infants and children under 2 enter free on any tier.
Our take: If it's just you plus one child, the Buddy All-Access at S$48 (S$24 per person) beats buying two Singles separately. If you're a family of four, the Family bundle at S$88 works out to S$22 per person — the best value of the lot. Skip the Basic pass unless you're sure your kids won't want to try the inflatables, because once they see other kids in there, there's no way back.
Don't miss: the K!DZ Cosplay Competition
When: Sunday 24 May 2026, on the Main Stage.
Judges: The Pause for a Cause team plus Syrena the Singapore Mermaid.
Who can join: Kids registered in advance via the official website.
Prizes: Awarded to winners across categories.
Registration is open now on the official site — if your child has been asking to dress up as Spider-Man, Elsa, or any homemade creation, this is their stage. Costumes don't have to be branded — original designs are welcome and often do well with the judges.
Hidden bonus: up to S$79 in partner freebies
This is the part most parents miss. The event has two exhibiting partners offering free trial lessons to ticket-holders:
Aikido Shinju-kai offers a free trial lesson valued at S$29.
Sabertooth Taekwondo offers a free trial lesson valued at S$50.
That's S$79 in freebies bundled with a S$10 basic ticket or S$25 All-Access. If you've been thinking about signing your child up for a martial arts class anyway, this event effectively pays for itself.
How to book
Tickets are live on SISTIC now at sistic.com.sg/events/kpopcon0625. For media, press, or partnership enquiries, email enquiry@generatexp.com. Full event info and cosplay competition registration are on the official K!DZ Pop Con Asia website at kidzpopconasia.com.
Final word
The May school holidays in Singapore get crowded fast — every family event worth going to tends to sell out its best time slots by mid-May. If you're thinking about going, book the Sunday 24 May session early so you can catch the cosplay competition and claim both partner freebies before the weekend's foot traffic peaks. Have fun!
