The deal — "$39 for 39 years of trust"
This is a farewell offer. The East Coast flagship — where JUMBO Seafood began in 1987 — closes on 30 September 2026 when its lease ends, under the National Parks Board's rejuvenation of East Coast Park. To mark it, JUMBO's "Thank You For The 39 Years Of Trust" campaign puts a 500g mud crab on the menu at $39, your choice of style.

Worth it?
A full JUMBO chilli crab, even a smaller 500g one, rarely lands near this price — a mud crab a la carte usually runs well above it once you factor in market pricing. At $39 (about $47 all-in) for a whole crab in the Award-Winning Chilli style, this is close to the cheapest a proper JUMBO chilli crab has been — and it comes with the sentimental pull of eating it at the restaurant where the brand started, before it closes for good.
