6 Best Self-Photo Studios and Photo Booths in Singapore (2026): $10 for Two Strips, Compared on Price, Outlets and Opening Hours

The most beginner-friendly name to start with, and the one with the most formats. Founded in 2022, Solace still describes itself on its own About page as having 20 physical outlets and several pop-up booths. Its store locator does not back that number up: as of 4 September 2026 it lists four storefronts (73 Haji Lane, Jewel Changi Airport #04-239, JEM #04-53 and VivoCity #02-37) and its pop-up page lists five more (Cineleisure, Kallang Wave Mall, The Star Vista #01-51, Singapore Expo Foyer 2 and Junction 8). Two outlets the locator misses but the company confirms elsewhere: Causeway Point #03-26A, open 11am to 10pm daily, and The Cathay, which Solace's own price page names as the only place doing the $12 A3 newspaper cut. Treat the locator as a partial list, not the whole chain. Prices are unchanged: $10 for two 2 by 6 inch strips, $12 for two 4 by 6 inch multi-frames, $15 a flipbook, $20 for a Mega Strip that is ten times the size of a standard strip, and $12 for two newspaper pieces at The Cathay only. Mega Strip and flipbook are at selected outlets only. Every shoot includes free JPG, GIF, MP4 timelapse and ZIP files you download by scanning the machine's QR code. The catch most roundups miss is the concept booths, which are a different price list: the Solace Airlines gate set at Haji Lane, the Solace Station train cabins at Orchard Gateway #02-03 and the newer elevator rooms are $12 for one piece plus $2 for every extra print, so a themed session costs more than a plain one. It is also the best brand for a late session, with VivoCity running to 3am and the Cineleisure pop-up open 24 hours, while the rest close at 10pm. The one for K-pop fans and dress-up lovers, and the fastest-growing of the six. Life4Cut (인생네컷, literally life's four cuts) is one of Korea's original photo-booth brands, and its Singapore list has grown from nine to twelve since our August check. The seven stores are unchanged: Suntec City #02-723, Bugis Junction #03-12B, 313@Somerset #B2-13/14, Jurong Point #02-54, Plaza Singapura #04-40A, GR.iD #02-06 and i12 Katong #01-30. The standalone booths are now five, not two: Marina Square (Level 2) and VivoCity #B2-23 have been joined by SIT Punggol Campus (1 Punggol Coast Road), Dunearn Village (896 Dunearn Road #02-05, the chill-out corner) and ICON@LINK (8 Club Street). Life4Cut prints one blanket line for the lot, 10.30am to 10pm, but three of the new booths sit inside a university campus, a neighbourhood corner and an office building, so in practice you are also bound by the host building's own access hours. Free costumes and props run from animal headbands to a full Korean hanbok, and the special film types include translucent strips. The signature draw is the rotating K-pop idol frame collaborations, where your shots print alongside a border featuring groups like SEVENTEEN, TWICE or DAY6. Machine types differ by outlet: the classic front-facing four-cut kiosk, a high-angle booth with the camera mounted at the top for a 0.5x top-down shot, and a Poki2 printer that prints straight from your phone. A session is $10 for two sheets, with a $12 Story Edition and other package types above that, and every shoot comes with soft copies and a GIF. Note that Life4Cut does not publish a price list on its site, so that $10 is the walk-up counter price we recorded rather than something you can check online first. The nostalgic pick, and quietly the most useful of the six if you do not live in town. Dollop brought the classic photo booth to Singapore in 2014 and now publishes a full, address-level list of 21 booths here plus one at KOMTAR JBCC in Johor Bahru, which is more heartland coverage than the other five put together. Most of the rest are 10am to 10pm daily, with One Holland Village on 11am to 9pm. You get two photo strips for $10 in under a minute, the booths take both cash and cashless, and a digital GIF of your shoot is emailed to you free. Frame designs are themed and rotate, covering birthdays, concerts and monthly series. BEST FOR: anyone chasing 2000s sticker-photo nostalgia, a booth close to home rather than in town, or a late-night strip at Clarke Quay.

The aesthete's choice, and the only price list on this page that has not moved at all since our last check. At 45A Craig Road, 2nd floor, in Tanjong Pagar, Fotomat gives you a private studio with no photographer in the room, a remote shutter and a large preview screen so you direct your own shoot. Three studios to pick from: colour, grey and white. The published menu: $30 for a 15-minute self black and white shoot for two people with unlimited shots, from which you select two photos to print and collect the same day; $30 for the same in colour; $10 per extra person or pet, infants included, which comes with one photo; $5 per extra print, with courier available; and $30 to have every original file from the session emailed over. Students and active military personnel get 10% off on showing a pass at the counter. It runs 11am to 9pm daily and, unlike Standard Photo Studio, states that it stays open on public holidays unless it says otherwise, which makes it the one bookable option on a long weekend. Booking is online only, through the studio pages on its site, and payment is PayNow. BEST FOR: couples, solo portraits, graduation or pet shoots, and anyone who wants a framed-quality result rather than a sticker strip.

The cosy, detail-loving studio, and the only booth brand here that will also print you an ID photo. Hana Film pairs its booths with a mini styling station of mirrors, a hair straightener and props, so you fix your look before you shoot. The Orchard Central outlet is Singapore's first hotel-themed photobooth: four themed booths styled as hotel rooms that you pick from a room service menu, with luxe touches like a golden tea trolley, heavy red curtains, an antique telephone and silver dish trays, and props from capybara headbands to Y2K headphones. The rooms are unusually roomy, fitting up to about ten people, so a bigger group actually works here. The CityLink outlet has its own concept set, an Office Room. Pricing is $10 for either two photo strips, one multi-cut or one ID photo, with each additional copy at $2, and free soft copies and a photo pouch included. Two central locations, Orchard Central at 181 Orchard Road #02-20, daily 11am to midnight, and CityLink Mall at 1 Raffles Link #B1-51, daily 10am to 11pm. The brand has since expanded into Malaysia, with a flagship on Beach Street in George Town, a second Penang shop on Armenian Street and a Lot 10 outlet in Kuala Lumpur, so its concept rooms now rotate across both countries. BEST FOR: groups who want a themed room rather than a booth, anyone who wants a styling station to prep, and a cheap ID photo while you are in town.

The most concept-driven pick, and the one whose price list needs the most care. Standard Photo Studio at 565 MacPherson Road #03-00 is a playground of themed concept rooms: a ball-pit room, a retro hawker-centre set with realistic food props, a backdrop room where you pick your own style, and an Aura Light room whose LEDs shift every second. Alongside them sit proper self-shoot studios, plus a counter selling film (Kodak ColorPlus 200 at $15.50, Ultramax 400 at $19.50, Fujifilm Speed 400 at $28) and Yashica MF-1Y reusable film cameras at $59.90; the Kodak FZ55 digital camera at $218 is currently sold out in every colour. The entry Flash and Dash package is a 4-minute session across three backgrounds for two people, giving you one photo strip, two keychains with photos and unlimited bead decoration, and there is a DIY Frame Edition that adds a photo frame. Here is the catch: Standard has emptied its Flash and Dash collection page, so no price appears on the product listing at all, and the only place the starting price is still written down is the FAQ page, which says the packages start at $10. Paws and Play pet shoots now run $55 to $165, not the $55 to $115 most roundups still print: the Pawfect Vibes tier is $55 to $125 depending on group size and prints, and a second Pet Flex tier sits above it at $115 to $165. The $50 Corporate Photo Studio is the exception to this whole article: it is the only session on this page with an actual photographer rather than a remote. Flash and Dash is walk-in only and MacPherson Road only, while the black and white, colour, pet and corporate studios are online-booking only, and every studio is pet-friendly. The hours are the real trap, shorter than any mall booth: Monday to Thursday and Sunday 10am to 6pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to 8pm, last bookings 5.15pm and 7.15pm, and closed on public holidays.
