Ayam Brand Singapore is running a free sampling roadshow for its Pulled Chicken Truffle Mayonnaise, and the thing being handed out is not a can — it is a made-up pulled chicken croissant. Eight dated stops, six MRT stations, 22 August to 12 September 2026. Complete a short survey at the booth and the croissant is yours, while stocks last.
> Quick view: FREE pulled chicken croissant · 8 stops across 6 MRT stations, 22 Aug – 12 Sep 2026 · no purchase, no minimum spend — just a short survey at the booth · while stocks last · next stop Yishun MRT, Sun 23 Aug, 12pm · the can it is promoting is $3.48 at FairPrice, or any 2 for $6.55 until Wed 2 Sep.
The full schedule, from Ayam Brand's own posters
| # | Station | Date | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bedok MRT | Sat 22 Aug 2026 | 12pm — already run |
| 2 | Yishun MRT | Sun 23 Aug 2026 | 12pm |
| 3 | Jurong East MRT | Wed 26 Aug 2026 | 11am |
| 4 | Jurong East MRT | Sat 29 Aug 2026 | 12pm |
| 5 | Tampines MRT | Wed 2 Sep 2026 | 11am |
| 6 | Tampines MRT | Sat 5 Sep 2026 | 12pm |
| 7 | Woodlands MRT | Wed 9 Sep 2026 | 3pm |
| 8 | Hougang MRT | Sat 12 Sep 2026 | 12pm |
The brand split this across two poster cards — "PICK YOUR STOP — HERE'S WHERE TO CATCH US FIRST" for the four August dates, and "MORE STOPS AHEAD — TRUFFLE MAYONNAISE PULLED CHICKEN SAMPLING" for the four September ones. The second card is the one that tells you which flavour you are actually tasting.
Two things the schedule tells you that the headline does not
It is eight stops but only six stations. Jurong East and Tampines each get two visits — a Wednesday and a Saturday, three days apart. If you live in either area and miss the first, the second is a short wait. Bedok, Yishun, Woodlands and Hougang get one shot each.
The Wednesday sessions are the quiet ones, and the hardest to reach. Every weekend stop is at 12pm. The weekday stops are 11am (Jurong East, 26 Aug and Tampines, 2 Sep) and 3pm (Woodlands, 9 Sep) — outside the lunch rush, which should mean shorter queues, and squarely inside the working day, which is why most people cannot go. If weekends are your only option, four chances remain: Yishun (23 Aug), Jurong East (29 Aug), Tampines (5 Sep) and Hougang (12 Sep).
The fine print — and what is missing from it
- No purchase, no minimum spend. The brand's own post says it: complete a short survey, receive a complimentary pulled chicken croissant. Nothing to buy, no app, no code.
- "While stocks last" is the only stated limit. Ayam Brand publishes a start time for every stop and no end time and no quantity anywhere. Treat the printed time as the moment to be there, not a window.
- The exact spot inside each station is not published. Look for the blue-and-yellow Ayam Brand booth; the brand's published contacts are 1800 454 5457 and marketing@ayambrand.com.sg.
- The croissant's size is not published either. This is a sampling booth at a station concourse, so set expectations accordingly — it is a taste of the product, not a bakery order.
- The flavour is fixed. The poster names Truffle Mayonnaise. The other six flavours are not part of the sampling.
What is actually in the can
Ayam Brand Pulled Chicken Truffle Mayonnaise, 150g, ready to eat straight from the can. From Ayam Brand's own product page:
| Per 100g | |
|---|---|
| Energy | 169 kcal |
| Protein | 17.6 g |
| Total fat | 8.7 g |
| Carbohydrate | 5.0 g |
| Sodium | 352 mg |
A 50g serving is 85 kcal and 8.8g of protein. The ingredient list includes truffle flavoured oil — so this is a truffle-flavoured mayonnaise base, not shaved truffle — along with cooked chicken, soya bean oil, vinegar, sugar, black pepper and egg powder. It contains soya bean and egg, and the brand states the range carries no preservatives. FairPrice's product data lists it as Halal and made in Thailand.
The full range is seven flavours: Truffle Mayonnaise, Mayonnaise, Buffalo, Cajun, Honey Mustard, Black Pepper and Hot Chilli.
If you want to buy it after tasting it
All seven flavours sit at one shelf price of $3.48 at FairPrice — there is no premium for the truffle one. That is $2.32 per 100g.
FairPrice's own promotion record has a mix-and-match "Any 2 for $6.55" covering all seven flavours, valid from 20 August 2026 to 4am on 3 September 2026 — so Wednesday 2 September is the last full shopping day. That works out to $3.275 a can, or $2.18 per 100g.
Be honest about the size of it: 41 cents off a pair, under 6%. It is not a reason to buy in itself. What makes it worth knowing is the overlap — the flavour you sample at the booth happens to be on offer while the roadshow is running, and the offer dies on 2 Sep, ten days before the roadshow's last stop on 12 Sep. Taste it at Tampines on 2 Sep at 11am and the discount is still live that evening; taste it at Hougang on 12 Sep and it is long gone.
How to actually get one
- Be there at the printed time. With no quantity and no end time published, arriving "sometime that afternoon" is how you find an empty booth.
- Weekday stops should be the calmer ones — 11am at Jurong East and Tampines, 3pm at Woodlands.
- If you miss Jurong East or Tampines, you get a second bite three days later. The other four stations are one-time visits.
- One per person, on the survey. Nothing in the brand's post suggests a household or repeat limit across different stops, but neither does it promise one — the booth staff decide on the day.
