The Korean pizza chain with the 25cm long-slice boxes has just gone MUIS halal certified across all 8 of its Singapore outlets, and it's marking it with two short, sharp promotions. FRIDAY 25 JULY: the first 100 pizzas at PLQ Mall, 313@somerset and AMK Hub go for $2.99 each — choose Korean Spicy Chicken (U.P. $7.90) or Korean Chicken Hawaiian (U.P. $6.50), max 2 per customer, queue tickets from 2.50pm and the counter opens at 3pm. THEN 28–31 JULY: the first 50 customers a day at every outlet except Temasek Polytechnic get 50% off their second pizza, with the discount applied to the cheaper of the two, one redemption per customer. Neither is stackable with other discounts, vouchers, membership privileges or delivery orders — these are walk-in, in-store deals only. The halal certification itself is the bigger news: Eat Pizza's menu already ran on turkey bacon and beef pepperoni rather than pork, and the whole 13-flavour range is now open to Muslim diners at AMK Hub, 313@somerset, Plaza Singapura, VivoCity, PLQ Mall, Grantral Mall @ Macpherson, IMM and Temasek Polytechnic.
