Two of Singapore's cheapest grocery staples just got cheaper — if you pay with the right card. From 18 July to 29 August 2026, DBS and POSB cardholders get S$3 off eggs and S$3 off rice every Saturday at Sheng Siong and Giant, for up to S$6 off a week. There's no minimum spend, it works with any DBS/POSB credit or debit card, and it runs across 129 outlets islandwide. The catch: it's on a 30-egg tray and a 5kg bag of jasmine rice (selected house-brand products only), one redemption per item per person per day, first-come-first-served with about 90,000 redemptions a week while stocks last — and it can't be stacked with CDC vouchers or other promos.
