Pokémon's 30th birthday party is coming to Changi, it costs nothing to get in, and Pokémon GO players can start on it today.
> Quick view: Sat 7 and Sun 8 Nov 2026 at Changi Airport and Jewel, free admission. A parade of all 27 first partner Pokémon at Jewel Forest Valley, blue PokéXciting! Pikachu stage shows at Terminal 3, photo spots, meet-and-greets and Singapore-edition merch. In Pokémon GO, the blue Pikachu stamp is already live at T3. Receipt redemptions for Pokémon luggage and plush run from 3 Nov.
What's happening on 7-8 November
PokéXciting! is The Pokémon Company's five-city Asia tour for the franchise's 30th anniversary. Kuala Lumpur (12-13 Sep) and Taipei (10-11 Oct) are done; Singapore is the third stop, then Manila (23-24 Jan 2027) and Bangkok (13-14 Feb 2027).
- The parade, at Jewel Forest Valley. All 27 first partner Pokémon from the nine generations of the video games march together in front of the Rain Vortex, alongside other Pokémon.
- Stage shows, at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Dance-led shows starring PokéXciting! Pikachu, which wears a different costume in each city. Singapore's is blue.
- POKÉGENIC photo spots hidden across both venues, plus meet-and-greet sessions at the T3 Departure Hall.
- Merchandise. Singapore-edition PokéXciting! Pikachu items go on sale at Pokémon Center SINGAPORE (in Jewel) from 7 November, limited quantities and while supplies last.
Admission is free and open to everyone. Parade and show timings were not published at the time of writing.

Pokémon GO: the blue Pikachu, and how to get it
This is the part you can start now. Per the Pokémon GO team's announcement:
- Cross-region stamp (live now). Singapore's PokéXciting! Pikachu stamp, one of five across the Asia-Pacific cities, is already live at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Collecting it gives an encounter with PokéXciting! Pikachu (Blue) with a Singapore Location Background.
- Regional stamp rally (7-8 Nov). Five stamps inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Lapras at designated PokéStops around Changi Airport and Jewel. Collect all five for another blue Pikachu encounter with the local background.
- Citywide content across Singapore. Two free Timed Research tracks, event Field Research, boosted wild spawns, and Gigantamax Battles featuring Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise.
- Event bonuses: 2× XP for spinning PokéStops, half Stardust cost for trades, 2 extra Special Trades, 1-hour Lure Modules, and 2× XP plus extra Candy for Nice Throws or better.
- Event hours: 10am to 10pm.
- The GO booth at T3 hands out a special PokéXciting! sticker.
Bring a power bank. Two days of stamp-hunting across an airport and a mall drains a phone fast.
Beyond the weekend: shopping redemptions and decorations
The 30th anniversary campaign carries on after the event:
- Receipt redemptions from 3 November 2026. A qualifying receipt from participating outlets lets you buy or redeem original Pokémon merchandise. Changi Airport only: cabin-sized and check-in luggage. Jewel only: umbrella with waterproof sleeve. Both: plush toys, thermal bottle, travel blanket with bag. Runs to 31 January 2027 at Jewel and 28 February 2027 at Changi Airport. Spend thresholds and outlet lists were not out yet.
- Pokémon Experience Zone, T3 Departure Hall. Play Pokémon titles on Nintendo Switch 2, with complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game trial-play sessions.
- TCG Quiz Rally at Jewel. Enlarged cards of the 27 first partner Pokémon placed around the mall; answer the quiz and collect a prize.
- Seasonal decorations at Changi Airport. Christmas-themed Pokémon decorations to the end of 2026, then Lunar New Year ones in early 2027.
Good to know
- Free, but busy. A free Pokémon event on a weekend at Jewel will draw crowds. Aim for the Forest Valley early, and use the airport terminals (T3 for shows) to spread out.
- Getting there: Changi Airport MRT (EWL) connects to T2 and T3, and Jewel links to T1 and, by bridge, T2 and T3.
- Details can change. The Pokémon Company says information is subject to change and its images are for illustration only. Timings will be on the official Pokémon Asia 30th Anniversary site.
