Museum of Ice Cream will upgrade your whole group's tickets for free this Halloween, and the only payment it wants is commitment to the costume.
> Quick view: 21 Oct to 1 Nov 2026 at MOIC, 100 Loewen Road, Dempsey. Whole party in full Halloween costumes on valid General Admission (from $43) = free upgrade to Premium Admission (from $53, adds 5 premium flavours + a complimentary drink, roughly $10/pax of value). Plus two limited-time flavours, mealworm toppings, and a $5 Trick or Treat Bag across 4 stations. Closed Tuesdays; 31 Oct is a Saturday.
THE COSTUME DEAL: a free Premium upgrade, worth about $10 a head
The mechanics are simple: buy regular General Admission tickets, then show up with your entire party dressed in full Halloween costumes, and everyone is upgraded to Premium Admission for free.
What Premium adds, per MOIC's own ticketing page: access to 5 premium ice cream flavours on top of the standard unlimited line-up of up to 14, plus a complimentary beverage during the visit. With General Admission from $43 and Premium from $53, that is roughly $10 of value per person, so a family of four in costume saves about $40 for the price of some face paint.
THE CATCH: the operative words are entire party and full costumes. MOIC's examples are matching monster outfits and coordinated covens of witches, so this is pitched at groups that commit, not one token headband. If half your group turns up in street clothes, expect to pay for Premium the normal way.
THE FLAVOURS: pumpkin spice, ube, and mealworms if you dare
Two limited-time Halloween flavours join the unlimited service: Pumpkin Spiced Latte, with warm seasonal spice notes, and U-BOO, the museum's Halloween pun on sweet, nutty ube.
The genuinely spooky option is the topping: SFA-approved dried mealworms by InsectYumz, offered as an optional crunch on soft-serve. Singapore approved insects for food in 2024, so this is less stunt than it sounds, but it remains strictly for the adventurous. Nobody is sneaking them onto your cone uninvited.
TRICK OR TREAT: $5, four stations, and you earn the candy
The Trick or Treat Experience is a $5 top-up for a Trick or Treat Bag, sold at MOIC's Retail, Bar and Diner outlets or as an online add-on. Four designated ice cream stations hold pink cauldrons filled with candy, and at each one you draw a challenge card before you collect: deliver your best horror movie scream, dance to Thriller, or tell a one-minute ghost story to one of the costumed guides.
At $5 for four candy stops plus the usual unlimited ice cream, it is a cheap add-on to keep kids hunting through the museum rather than racing to the slide.
