Apple has officially announced the event, titled Surprise and Shine, taking place at Apple Park in Cupertino on 9 September 2026 at 10am Pacific Time. For Singapore, set your alarm for 1am, Thursday 10 September. The keynote streams free on apple.com and Apple's YouTube channel, with the replay available immediately after.
What is expected (not yet confirmed)
Per reports from outlets including MacRumors and AppleInsider:
- iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, the main event
- Apple's first foldable iPhone, which some reports suggest could be called the iPhone Ultra
- No standard iPhone 18 this time: the base model is reportedly moving to a spring 2027 launch, making this a Pro-and-foldable year
- It is also expected to be the first keynote under new CEO John Ternus
Treat the line-up as well-sourced expectation until Apple says it on stage.
What usually happens next for Singapore
Apple has not announced preorder dates. But the pattern in recent years has been consistent, and Singapore has been in the first launch wave:
- Preorders: typically the Friday evening of keynote week, around 8pm Singapore time. If the pattern holds this year, that would be the evening of Friday 11 September
- In stores: about a week after preorders open
- Telcos: Singtel, StarHub, M1 and SIMBA usually open registration-of-interest pages within hours of the keynote
